Wild and remote: that’s the Dauphiné in the French Alps. Michi Düchs is here on a ski tour around the Sirac in the southern part of the Écrins. There are no managed huts or pre-planned routes here in winter. This makes it all the more important to have the right team with you: Maria Pilarski , a doctor and mountain guide from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Ben Reuter, a mountain guide, snow researcher, and avalanche expert, accompany Michi in one of the most spectacular areas in the Alps.
